Simple Lassi Recipe:
This is the most simplest and quick recipe of lassi you can have. Generally, the usage of water or milk depends on the texture you prefer to have. People fond of creamy lassi opt for milk otherwise water.
Ingredients:
- Yogurt - 2 cups
- Chilled water - half cup
- Sugar for flavor - 3 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - a pinch (optional)
- Chopped almonds + pistachios
- Ice cubes as needed
Take a blender with yogurt, sugar, cardamom powder and water/milk. Blend them until gets properly frothy and smooth. If you prefer chilled lassi, blend ice-cubes with the rest of the ingredients. For serving, pour the lassi in a glass and garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios.
Mango Lassi
Lassi with mango flavor is really refreshing and delicious. It is the most common drink of summer season. Mango pulp is added to the lassi to make it even delicious. Lassi when prepared with milk is often compared to the milkshake but obviously healthier one. Intake of mango lassi is mostly common in hot summer afternoon.
Ingredients;
- Plain yogurt - 1 cup
- Mango Pulp - 3 quarters of a cup
- Granulated Sugar - according to the sweetness of the mango
- Ground Cardamom - a pinch
- Ice cubes as needed
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until get smooth and frothy. As the quantities of ingredients mentioned above for two persons so when serving, evenly divide the lassi between two glasses.
