Banana Puree

Fruit puree is the best way to get the best out of a fruit. It is an appropriate way to extract the juice along with the fibrous content present in the fruit. All through the process, only insoluble fibers get removed.

As per its texture, fruit or banana puree are smooth, thick textured product that is processed in such a way that insoluble fibrous parts get smoothed enough to form a fine product. In case of seeds or any removable part, they are removed first to precede the process of fruit puree. In case of banana puree, as there are not any seeds, they are just peeled off and processed.

Generally, there is versatility in the processing technique of puree but on its basic level, they are washed, sorted and cleaned. Finally the unnecessary content is removed and processed to make the pulp out of it. Later, unwanted fibers are removed at the next level and smooth textured puree is formed. Passing through a couple of stages, puree is made sure that the texture is smooth and germs-free.

Here, I am sharing the recipe of banana puree which can be prepared at your own place. Banana purees can be used as an ingredient in many dishes such as banana pudding and ice creams.

Banana and milk

Preparation:

Peel off a banana and mash to form a paste with the fork. During the initial stages of mashing, add milk according to the requirement to thin down the paste and form a puree. Add a little sweetener to if you want more sweetness. Serve your banana puree!
